I find the hardest recipe to find is a easy, non-complex hot cocoa recipe. Look online. There are billions of recipes, but how do you find the right one!? The other day, I was going through some hot cocoa recipes on Pinterest, and I saw this recipe. It looked so easy, and there was no strange ingredients that you have never heard of, or even powdered milk (which I have never had, but it smells bad, so why try it?)! Besides, who wants to fuss around with ingredients with only a slight chance of it working out? This is the comfort food for everyone. Here is the recipe, and and the link to the site. Have a very merry belated (or early) Christmas! http://onecharmingparty.com/page/9/
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup water
- 4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
How to:Mix the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a medium sized saucepan. Pour in water, and boil at medium heat. Let boil for 2 minutes, but don't let it burn. Stir in milk and stir until warm, but don't let it boil. Take the pan off the stove and stir in vanilla. Serve warm, with or without toppings.

Please try it and tell me what you think of it! If you can think of any more toppings that you think the world would enjoy, please comment! I will try to put it on when I have time! Thank you!
