Yes, I know what you're thinking. I thought this was a blog where you gave us advice?! Yes, it is. But I need some advice, so just stick with me and please give me your honest opinion!

How You Like Your Book: Smack in the Middle or a Little to the Side

Where do you like your book to start? *

Start with the dialog so you get into the action. Start with a quote in each chapter so it's more poetic. Start with a mad rush for the hero's (heroine's) life. Who wants peace? Start with a description of the hero (heroine) so you can picture them. Start with a normal time, then get into the action so you know it isn't normal.

I have loved doing crafts, cooking, and writing all my life. Ever since I was a little girl, I have had great joy helping make cookies (though I probably was more of a bother than a help!) and I loved putting my heart into drawings that only I could understand. That is, until I would run off and do something else!
